Brief History
Our founding and current Managing Director, Wayne Bradcock is one of the veterans in NZ weighing industry with over 50 years of experience. He started the original company in Hamilton under the name Waikato Scale Company in 1981.
Always placing the customer first and committed to innovation and excellence to the entire New Zealand market, the name change to Sensortronic Scales was initiated in 1983.
Over the following years, through partnerships and attracting expert personnel, Sensortronic Scales has grown into one of New Zealand’s premier weighing companies with a nation-wide branch network with qualified experienced staff.
As the leaders in New Zealand’s solution-based weighing, we strive to provide solutions to suit each individual need in different industries, applications and environments. We give priority to develop and manufacture products locally using local resources and skills. We also build partnerships with other global industry leaders to obtain and introduce the latest technology to the local market.
With our calibration, repair and maintenance services, we ensure accuracy and reliability through knowledge, expertise, affiliations and products. We are accredited by International Accreditation New Zealand (IANZ), complying to NZS ISO/IEC 17025-2017 and also Accredited to New Zealand Trading standards within the Ministry of Business, Innovation, and Employment.
With our valued staff being at the heart of the operations, we maintain a comprehensive Health & Safety policy, up to date industry & regulatory training and licences. We encourage our staff’s personal development to grow together for a brighter future.
